Kelowna Massage Therapists – About Us
Primary Healthcare Practitioners
With over 3000 hours of training Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) in BC are some of the best trained in the world. That training earns them the designation of Primary Healthcare Pracitioners and allows them to properly assess and treat a large variety of common and uncommon problems. Because of this most insurance companies will cover visits to RMTs in BC. For more information on RMTs in BC check out the College of massage therapists of BC website.
Kelowna Massage Therapists
At Kelowna Medical Massage we’ve seen massage therapy help with shoulder pain, rotator cuff injuries, TMJ, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, knee pain, whiplash, headaches, neck pain, hip pain, arthritis and many other conditions. We believe that massage is not just about feeling better in the short term, but actually getting better, and staying better. That’s why we stay up to date on the latest research and techniques and use a variety of techniques including massage, joint mobilizations, stretching, heat and ice, exercise programs and MLD to achieve results. Medical massage is the option for recovery and prevention of many common (and uncommon) problems.
Words from clients
A few months back I was suffering with persistent headaches. My doctor did tests, sent me for CT scans, and gave me injections, nothing worked. Finally he suggested massage therapy. With just one session my head aches were not as severe. Now I rarely get headaches thanks to Nick Legault. I really recommend Registered Massage Therapist Nick Legault.
Over the years of my career I went to many chiropractors, massage therapists and Physiotherapists. Most of the time, their services only helped for a week or two and involved me continuing to see them on a frequent basis as the pain would always come back. I went to Nick 3 times over the course of a few weeks and have never felt better!
