Those with myofascial restrictions, low back or hip pain, postural dysfunction, or those seeking stress relief or more indirect treatments will commonly book with Grace.
Grace was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba; moving to Kelowna in grade 9. Following graduation, she spent years traveling and working in many areas including the Caribbean, Central America, Egypt, and the South Pacific. After returning to Kelowna and becoming involved with the roller derby community, Grace sustained injuries that provided her first introduction to massage therapy. She was impressed with the possibilities of medical massage, and its value in such a wide variety of conditions. Seeing the efficacy of massage with her own rehabilitation inspired her to enroll in the RMT diploma program.
Grace graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon and became a registered massage therapist in 2017. She has thoroughly enjoyed the journey through school, loving the manual therapy experience gained and intrigued by the detailed study of human anatomy. She is excited to have began her career as a health care professional and hopes to encourage those she treats to play an active role in rehabilitation and prevention.
