About Nick

Years ago I had a rotator cuff  injury that left me unable to put a shirt on over my head. I went to different kinds of therapists to try and resolve it but nothing was working and my shoulder pain was only getting worse. Eventually I ended up seeing a massage therapist and she was able to fix my shoulder, but it was a long and painful process.

What frustrated me the most about my injury was that I didn’t know what was going on, and I didn’t know what I could do to fix it. Every time I went to a new therapist, be it massage therapist or physiotherapist, they would assess it my shoulder but no one would actually tell me what was going on, or what I could do to fix it. Each therapist would treat it differently and it wouldn’t feel any better. What was worse was that every time that I went to a new therapist it was a big waste of my time and money.

When I finally found someone who was actually getting results with my shoulder I was happy to be getting better, but I was still frustrated because she never seemed to have the time to actually explain what was going on.

Shortly after recovering from my injury I started massage school. Since I started practicing Massage Therapy in 2012 I have made it my goal not only to help my clients get better but also to help my them understand what is going on, what massage can do to help fix it, and what they can do for themselves.
